PS3 HAN Toolbox

Many of my users are regularly asking me about the PS3 HAN Toolbox. This is a really nice application or tool that will help you to install the games on your PS3 console with some new features. You can use any PS3 console make and model. Make sure your PS3 console should be jailbroken and HAN Enable. Further, if you don’t know how to jailbreak PS3 super slim then read it. PS3 HAN Toolbox is an XMB Mod for HAN user’s that makes using certain functions easier to use. PS3 HAN Toolbox is giving you the option to use the functions with ease. You can easily install games and other tools with ease.

How to install PS3 HAN Toolbox v0.4:-

1. Download extract files on your PC
2. Put both files in a folder and extract
3. Download HAN_Toolbox_v0.4.pkg and put in the same folder
4. Now open the HTML folder and copy all the files
5. Open MiniWeb folder and paste all the files into the htdocs folder
6. Open HAN support folder and copy all the files
7. Plug a USB stick (FAT32) on your PC
8. Paste all the HAN support files inside the USB disk root
9. Copy and paste HAN Toolbox v0.4 inside the USB stick root
10. Now open and run the MiniWeb
11. Remember the IP address and have a stable internet connection
12. Now plug your USB stick nearby the Blu-ray drive in PS3
13. Now go to package manager >Install pkg files >Standard
14. Click on HAN_Toolbox_v0.4.pkg
15. May you receive the error, so open internet and insert the same IP address of MiniWeb
16. From here click on HAN installer
17. Once page open then click on Initialize HAN Installer
18. After initialization click on Launch HAN Installation
19. After that PS3 will reboot
20. Again try to install HAN Toolbox v0.4.pkg
21. It’s still showing error then you need to enable HAN
22. Open your internet browser and enter the same IP address
23. Click on HAN enabler
24. When the page opens click on Initialize HAN enabler
25. Once process complete click on Enable HAN
26. Again try to install HAN_Toolbox_v0.4.pkg, now it’s done
27. When you try to play your game in next boot then may it show you the error
28. You need to just Enable HAN and then you are able to play your game again

Important Note:

It doesn’t matter which order you do this in, but you should run HAN Installer again with freshly downloaded HAN support files to add support for Toolbox v0.4 either before or after installing the pkg, after installing the pkg you can go to Game Data Utility and delete the v0.3 data. If you don’t do these things, v0.4 will not show, and you will still have 0.3 showings. It’s ok if you have v0.3 and v0.4 showing at the same time, just delete v0.3 Game Data and reboot to clear it.

Future Toolbox Updates

Also, you will no longer need to update HAN Toolbox via pkg anymore after installing this update, when the next updates come out you will be updating it from the XMB just like a game. See the new setting item inside the HAN Toolbox.
